Join me in making a difference!
On November 1, I will be running the virtual New York City Marathon to promote health and wellness in under-served minority communities. As a member Old Man Run Club and Brooklyn Track Club, I have chosen to raise funds for Bridging Access to Care (BAC) to give back to my community while doing what I love!”
Want to join me in making a difference?
BAC serves more than 4,000 individuals each year. The majority of them are living with HIV/AIDS, substance abuse, or mental health issues. About 80% of BAC clients have lived experience in trauma.
Many formerly homeless women and men living in BAC’s supportive housing units lack the basics. Funds raised through this campaign will allow BAC to provide additional support not covered by government grants, such as personal hygiene products, and cleaning supplies, which are necessities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Sincerely,
Sydney Ruby
